Bio
Record™
Plus is a combination of Vitamin B12 (hydroxocobalamine) , four
essential amino acids (L-phosphothreonine, L-phosphoserine,
L-glutamine and L-arginine), and L-carnitine especially formulated
to restore strength, vitality and tonicity to the body.
When the diet is insufficient or
unbalanced, a lack of nutrients can cause physical or mental fatigue.
The same holds true after strenuous physical or mental activities
when fatigue may indicate that the body has reached a limit in
energy. Fatigue is also often accompanied by difficulties in
concentration and memory. The metabolic compounds in Bio Record™
Plus act as a tonic, reconstituting and energising the body by
providing it with the substances that may be temporarily depleted.
Bio Record™ Plus helps the body fight physical and mental fatigue by
restoring vitality and increasing performance.
Bio Record™
Plus is recommended in the following cases:
- Difficulty in concentration and
lack of memory during intense study periods like exams
- Physical and mental fatigue due
to illness, overwork or other types of stress

Bio Record™
Plus active ingredients and their function:
Vitamin B12 (hydroxocobalamine):
is involved in red blood cell maturation, nerve function and DNA
synthesis. Hydroxocobalamine also participates in the processes of
amino acid utilization, thus facilitating protein synthesis.
Amino Acids:
-
L-glutamine is able to
cross cell membranes and transport glutamic acid into the cell
where it plays an important role in energy and protein
metabolism. It is also essential for cellular metabolism in the
central nervous system.
-
L-phosphothreonine and
L-phosphoserine play a role in phosphoprotein metabolism and
potentiate the activity of Vitamin B12 in nucleic acid
metabolism.
-
L-arginine has a
remarkable detoxifying activity due to its ability to lower
increased ammonia levels. It also participates in the synthesis
of creatinine which is an important energy substrate for muscle
contraction.
L-carnitine is a naturally
occurring compound found primarily in meat and animal products. It’s
main role is in shuttling fatty acids to the mitochondria where they
can be used to make energy. L-carnitine is the only compound that
can dispose of long chain acyl derivatives that can damage cell and
mitochondrial membranes and inhibit energy production.
