We believe
that only research-based compounds with well defined mechanisms
of action should be considered when targeting cellular
metabolism. In our development process each compound is
evaluated on the basis of quality of synthesis, safety,
pharmacokinetics and clinical efficacy. All development steps
are carried out according to the highest recognized
international standards within the pharmaceutical industry (GLP,
GMP, GCP).
Our basic
premise is that by correcting metabolic dysfunctions (i.e.
underlying deficiencies in the metabolic coenzymes and cofactors)
which cause chronic diseases and aging, the progression of the
damage associated with metabolic compromise and related toxicity
pathways can be slowed down or corrected. We focus not only on
developing products but also on developing supplements and a
greater understanding of the diseases related to abnormalities
in metabolism, with special attention to mitochondrial function.
To this end,
we are researching metabolic compounds, alone and in specific
combinations, each individually selected based on its particular
biochemical and physiological properties, to develop a
synergistic formulations that target specific conditions.
Some of the compounds being studied include:
-
L-carnitine,
Acetyl-L-carnitine, Propionyl-L-carnitine, and their analogs
-
coenzyme Q10
-
omega-3
fatty acids (EPA, DHA)
-
amino acids
-
minerals
-
nicotinamide
-
riboflavin
-
pantothenic
acid
-
folic acid
-
vitamin E
-
others
A very strict
scientific rationale is used in developing evidence-based
formulations.
